Research Activities

A survey on Flexible Work Arrangements was conducted during the period March 26 – April 3, 2020. There were 56 respondents to the survey.

Key Findings:

Seventy-seven percent (77%) of respondents were aware of the Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) Bill.

Telecommuting was the work arrangements adopted by businesses of most respondents (57.14%).

30% felt any attempts to accommodate FWA would be challenging because of reasons including:

-       Manual files – need to access personal files particularly in time of COVID-19

-       Jobs cannot be done from home

-       Technology support

-       Ability to respond to walk in customers with access to relevant system

-       Essential services

-       Difficulty managing due to different schedules.
